There is something mysterious and intriguing about oriental home furnishings.  Whether it's the cultural history that oozes out of each design, the detailed patterns and shapes  - I can't put my finger on it.  Our passion for eastern furnishings remains strong with inspired pieces featuring throughout many designer collections.  One of the easiest and often used ways to bring a little eastern promise into your décor is with the use of a Buddha.  Many designers mix contemporary pieces with key oriental features to create a contemporary zen inspired design.  I have found a fascinating collection of key pieces that give a nod to the orient. Furniture It's the details in eastern furniture that always intrigue me.  From the central circular lock, to the tassled handles and attention to detail.
