Interiors Inspired by Nature

Posted by Mark Godsell-Fletcher on

Driving home tonight along the road I could see lots of cars bursting with belongings and decorated with surf boards, bikes and even canoes as families headed towards the coast for either a long weekend or their summer holiday.  No matter whether you are heading to the sea, country or even the city one thing we long for is a view.  We love to soak in our surroundings, to breathe in different air and experience the wonders that this new and exciting place has to offer.  Each landscape is natures own gift to us, they have carved their dramatic decor to fascinate and inspire us.  Interiors inspired by nature can be just as captivating.  At Eat Sleep Live we have a real passion for natures gift since we craft our own furniture from wood that can be hundreds of years old.  In a world which is very wasteful, we love to be able to create beautiful pieces of furniture from what is all too often, a discarded material. Looking as strong as the tree it depicts but yet with an unexpectedly soft surface texture, the MeroWings Birch Tree Trunk brings the feeling of adding nature to any living space. [caption id="attachment_5849" align="aligncenter" width="449"]FIORI, Albina Basharova FIORI, Albina Basharova[/caption] We need wild flowers to help one of our own endangered species, the honey bee.  The hive of the honey bee with its distinctive hexagonal shapes is celebrated in this beautiful Nectar Lampshade. [caption id="attachment_5856" align="aligncenter" width="620"]Real Moss Bath Mat, dornob.comReal Moss Bath Mat, Real Moss Bath Mat, dornob.comReal Moss Bath Mat,[/caption] Recalling a range of landscapes from Tuscany’s rolling hills to the exotic Amazon rainforests, the Secret Garden Table is a mosaic of a variety of moss and is  designed by home furniture company Ayodhyatra. [caption id="attachment_5859" align="aligncenter" width="620"]Peddy, Mindscape Peddy, Mindscape[/caption] We couldn't end without showing you some showstoppers of Living Interiors by Verde Profilo.  Each project this company undertakes is unique as they believe there should be no limits to creativity.  They state their designs "make more spontaneous the relationship between the individual and nature."  They truly have a passion for nature which is evident in their stunning Moss Design Collection.
