Relight my Fire - Perfect Fires for your Bedroom

Posted by Mark Godsell-Fletcher on

Whenever we see photos of dream homes, especially in the USA they all have fires in their bedrooms.  But is this a luxury for the rich and famous or is it something we can all bring into our bedroom design?  Fires have always been in bedrooms, many of us craving those original features in period homes.  During the 20th century we seemed to have forgotten the humble fire and replaced it with our heating systems and radiators. Those of you living in period properties maybe relishing in the fact that you still have a fire in your bedroom.  But if like me, and you live in a modern home, what options are there available for us.  You can still have a traditional look without having a chimney breast.  Wood burning stoves are back in fashion in a big way, and you can get the style of a traditional log burner in an electric fire. This small freestanding fire would be a great addition to your bedroom.
